Membership

Although our project focus is within Southeastern San Diego, we welcome members from all areas of San Diego, as well as from the adjacent communities of Lemon Grove, Spring Valley, El Cajon, Jamul, Bonita, National City, and Chula Vista. All that is needed to become a member is to complete our application and pay the annual dues of $15.00.

The completed application may be submitted easily by Printing* it to a PDF file, which will allow you to save the completed application to your computer. You may then submit the completed form to Paradise Gardeners by attaching it to an email sent to paradisegardenerssd@gmail.com. *For those unfamiliar with creating a PDF file in this way: After completing the form, do a normal Print command. In the Print dialogue window, select PDF as the “printer” and select the location (desktop or wherever) for the PDF file you are creating. When you then “print” you will be creating the PDF file.

Please note application/payment options. The completed form may be brought to our meetings, mailed or emailed. Payment may be made with cash or by check (payable to Paradise Gardeners) and be submitted by mail or at a club meeting. Payment may be made electronically through PayPal.

Membership is $25 a year (July 1-June 30). Membership dues cover:

  • $2.75 California Garden Clubs Inc annual dues
  • $1.50 annual liability insurance
  • $1.50 CGCI Palomar District annual dues
  • $1.00 annual payment to CGCI for tax exempt status
  • $6.75 total goes to above disbursements

Only $18.25 of your $25 goes toward the cost of chapter refreshments and other club expenses, so we welcome ALL cash donations!

We are a membership club, but membership is not required to attend our meetings.
